Botanic

It's been a busy few weekends lately with spring weddings happening and trying to get my house stuff organised (i.e: garden clean up). We've finally started planting our first few plants in the garden and it's looking good but barren. More work to be done this weekend but have to order some screening plants in from Bunnings. My lil fur monster tried to escape the garden yesterday, by squeezing through the bottom of the fencing to the neighbour's yard. They weren't at home so Nick had to dig soil out and scramble underneath to get him. He knew he was being naughty, he only got his not so favourite dry food yesterday as punishment.

Lost Without You

My mum loves this tent like thing they have set up at Burswood. I guess it is kinda cool. She knows all the pretty places in Perth, her camera is like her best friend so she is always taking pictures. On a side note, I'm still thinking what my new year's resolutions should be - I should hurry up or it will be February soon. What are your new year's resolutions? Some inspiration would be wonderful

Melbourne Cup Day

To everyone watching the race, or just watching it on TV and betting and enjoying some drinks, have fun to you all!

So many people dressed so nicely in the city, I love it. As for me, I was given a half day today so I'm slobbing at home at the moment though I have lots of chores to do. I also got a free punt courtesy of my work building.
