Sorry about the hiatus again, suddenly work peaked and holidays seems like a lifetime ago! Backtracking to day 4 in Singapore doing touristy things with my partner in crime, Shirley. We got so excited about this LOVE sign, we passed by it in a cab and then had to go find it again the next day! We toured Chinatown as well and dropped into the Heritage Centre. You can relive the lives of early migrants into Singapore at this centre. I did have some photos but they were unfortunately quite dark. The building itself is a restored shophouse and restored living quarters. It shows how families used to live inside one bedroom with some original furnishings. For something different in Singapore I think it's well worth a visit. Of course ended the day with some ice cream from my favourite grandma / grandpa partnership on Orchard Rd.

Clarke Quay

First day shots of Singapore. I'd like to think I really pack in heaps of activities on holidays, I get up early, I go for a run, then do all the sightseeing stuff that I have on my list. A lot of people think there's really not that much to Singapore but if like the ad says you "get lost" there is actually a lot to see and do. Spent the morning wandering on Orchard Road with this promo (too cute to pass up), then saw my dad for lunch at Clarke Quay's Jumbo (chilli crab, what else?) where these beautiful colourful houses are! So much pink!

Lunartic

Took an afternoon walk around the neighbourhood for the last time before we have to move next week. Shot this while we were at it. I am loving this tank, I did get it awhile ago but I can't stop wearing it everywhere. Plus for summer it's pretty much perfect. Also this is probably the first photo where my tattoos are actually visible. I would consider getting more later down the track but we'll see. For now, happy Friday!

Fuchsia

I dress really differently on the weekends, sometimes I wear dresses and sometimes I'm more comfortable in denim shorts. You just have those days when you cannot be bothered. This is epically multiplied on working week days.

On this particular day we were just heading out to brunch at Surry Hills, specifically at Bills. My friend Tina recommended it ages ago and it was only last weekend that I managed to go. It wasn't good for my keto diet because I had to have those ricotta pancakes with honeycomb butter and bananas. Trust me it was so worth it, even when I told Nick to just roll me down the hill towards the car.

Childhood Favourite

Morning! It's Tuesday already and I'm feeling pretty cheery today for no particular reason.

Weekend was fab, went to see a couple of apartments and had pizza at this place in Lane Cove called Via Napoli. You can order normal pizzas, half a metre pizzas or a 2 metre pizza! There was only 2 of us so half a metre please!

This always happens in this regard I'm like my mum, eyes bigger than my stomach. It was so good though and very authentic and Italian, the only thing that brought it down was the atmosphere. Eating alfresco was fine, but we were stuck in between tables of families with children that are screaming (literal screaming) for attention so it wasn't the least bit romantic. So I would recommend going for dinner after 9 pm when the children should be in bed. Haha. I actually didn't really mind too much, I was just so hungry I was too busy eating anyway.

Lookee, I found a DIY swing whilst house hunting. I tried and tested it, how could I not?

Spring into Spring

Last weekend was the long weekend so I went to the beach on Monday, but it wasn't as hot as I hoped it would be. Though there was this really lovely cafe there where you can sit outside and get some really good sun which was excellent.

Also did I mention how much I love this shirt? Expect to see it a lot more is all I can say. Got it over the weekend too. I was actually in the store to buy some shorts, but of course I come out with a shirt. Close enough?

Hi Guys,

Happy Monday as per usual! Hope everyone is feeling great and feeling positive and ready for another week. I had dinner with one of my bestest girlfriends last night so I'm feeling pretty chuffed this Monday! The food at Red Lantern was amazing!
