Sydney is getting rainier and colder now, time to bring out the winter jumpers! I Had to pick up some outdoor chairs over the weekend, but what good are they to me now that I can't sit outside anyway? Haha. That's just how it is. Love these sneakers to death btw, if I could wear it with everything I would, and I might just try...

Hey ho it's Friday - the best day of the week! I think this weekend I will finish cleaning up my garden (finally) because that's you know, how I roll these days, doing the garden clean up and the landscaping. Then also do battle with the slugs and spiders that are jumping and coming at me (the spiders that are jumping that is, the slugs are on the slow side). So here are some pics whilst I browse this really pretty nursery considering what to plant in my newly cleaned courtyard.

Er so I've got this giant stye on my left eye so the sunnies didn't come off at all for most of the weekend. I look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame without the hunch. My colleague told me to dip cotton balls in chamomile tea and swipe it on my eye, in the end all I had was green tea so I used the bag as a compress. It has sort of brought it down this morning but I'm still bleary eyed. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great! I've had it for like three days now! Gross - I tell everyone to look me in my good eye.

It's Friday! So elated!
This skirt though, one of my faves that I gifted to myself. I thought you know what? I just had my birthday so I wanna get myself something good. So I bought two of these skirts. No doubt the black one will soon also make its way onto the blog. No real reason for the jacket, after all I'm sure you remember this post.

Seeing as I now live on the bottom of a hill, flat shoes have become my everything. Going up is not so bad, going down is where it gets tricky. Now that it's super rainy I'm contemplating ankle boots as my next go to purchase. I did try the Wangs at David Jones and they were a treat to wear - guess you really get what you pay for huh?

Hi guys, meet Houdini my little munchkin. He came through his surgery fine and is wearing a neck cloth thingy, similar to the cone of shame. Though he doesn't seem to mind it. He is the love of my life right now (Nick should be jealous - haha). I talk to him sometimes and I'm trying to teach him how to high five. I adopted this cute little guy from Claws n Paws in the Central Coast, they do a great job but so do all the other adoption and rescue organisations. If you want a pet, I say adopt, they're all so beautiful and they all need loving homes.
I didn't realise that this is the first post with my new haircut. So new things eh? It's refreshingly short but higher maintenance than long hair. Have to straighten it after a wash every time. I have to be a bit better at updating this blog, but a lot has been going on and the new kitty sure keeps us busy on the weekend! Photos of my lil guy coming soon. He is having surgery today *sad face* Nick found him eating a loose nail from the back of one of our furniture, but it seemed like it didnt affect him as he is still jumping around. So I have all my fingers crossed that he will be okay.
