I couldn't pick between all these shots, so have them all! One of my favourite shoots to date, and just so happened it was a REALLY hot day and I'm wearing a skin tight long sleeved crop top. Hopefully you can't really tell I'm sweltering! Also because I'm on a tennis court, I brought along one of my favourite sneaks. Cuz why not?

It's been a busy few weekends lately with spring weddings happening and trying to get my house stuff organised (i.e: garden clean up). We've finally started planting our first few plants in the garden and it's looking good but barren. More work to be done this weekend but have to order some screening plants in from Bunnings. My lil fur monster tried to escape the garden yesterday, by squeezing through the bottom of the fencing to the neighbour's yard. They weren't at home so Nick had to dig soil out and scramble underneath to get him. He knew he was being naughty, he only got his not so favourite dry food yesterday as punishment.

Everywhere I look, summer is around the corner. I got to enjoy a really hot long weekend and now I'm back at work. We jumped at the opportunity of the 30 degree weather and went to Manly beach on Sunday, though it seems the rest of Sydney also had the same idea. We were lucky enough to find unlimited parking, in the shade and very close to the beach (triple threat) which actually REALLY made my day.

Getting our floorboards done today! Er finally, you won't believe just how much stuff I needed to pack up and move to the tiled areas. The boy was all like, we are not buying anymore stuff! (I think by we, he means me...). He is trying to implement the policy of buying one thing and another thing has to go. Has anyone done that before? Apparently it's quite effective for a well curated closet. It literally sounds impossible. You mean well right, so you think you will sell the item on eBay or at a flea market or something and guess what? It never happens... story of my life anyway.

You can't tell in these pictures but it was a really really hot day. Visited this park called Garuda Wisnu Kencana where they are still trying to complete the biggest statue in the world (purportedly). The size of the separate parts of the statue itself are pretty amazing already. My only recommendation is to enjoy a meal at the restaurant outside of the park which has pretty amazing views.

Tepi Sawah

On the day we finally drove up to Ubud it was raining the whole day. The first thing we did was have lunch of course, gotta ease those hunger pangs after 2 hours of being in the car. We ate at Bebek Tepi Sawah, which translates to Ducks by the Rice Paddies, though no ducks in sight, bar the ones on my plate. We followed it up by walking around at Teras Iring, which was gorgeous rice paddies at a height. Caution on being duped by the cute kids who are trying to sell packets of postcards there for $10 each, they make it hard to say no because they have perfected the sad puppy dog face. We then went to a coffee plantation, where we had some civet coffee. I highly recommend going because they grow all sorts of plants there, not just coffee and they can give you a guided tour on what is what. The plantation we went to was called Sebatu and our guide was really lovely.

Seminyak

We shot these at the hotel pool whilst it was nice and quiet. I loved staying in the Seminyak Beach Resort, it was convenient and was a stunning location by the beach. Infinity pool looks out towards the action on the beach which is fun. I haven't stayed anywhere else in Bali yet but I would probably come back here unless we were going to stay in Ubud. The only downside is if you want a chair by the pool after 10:30 / 11:00 am you won't be able to find any as people will go and reserve their spots by putting random items like one sandal or a book on it (#truestory). I do have some more photos of Bali and I'm trying to update as regularly as possible but laziness, being away has gotten the better of me. I will try to be better!

Hi guys, it's finally hump day. Am flat chat at work but that's a good thing. I bought the Dior Addict Fluid Stick the other day in Wonderland, I thought I would really love it but I find it's not that easy to apply, This is probably because of the high pigmentation. It is a bit like applying gloss but with a really rich colour. Maybe I should have bought a nude instead, I'm a little clumsy with lip colour applications. That reminds me to share this interesting video about printing off your own makeup using a 3D printer, the printer is called Mink and was launched by a Harvard educated girl. Read the article and watch the video here.

Lace & Leather

Had to leave the house early this morning to get an imprint of my teeth, cause my jaw has been clickety clacking for some time now. Getting a splint made to wear at night is going to look super attractive, am I right? Not receiving it 'til next next Monday and the expense is huge - so hopefully this is a working solution for my night time clenching. I also will consider hypno-therapy if it doesn't work, which I know sounds kind of bogus but it might help, who knows? Well actually, if there is someone who's ever had hypno-therapy, please let me know your experience.
