Thursday is nearly over! Praying for Friday afternoon and another week has flown by! How cool is this blue Maison Michel hat??? Just some lil things on my mind now.

Vitamin D

Catching some early morning sun post brunch last weekend. I have to stop and recommend this teeny cafe I went to, which was really unusual for me because it's quite far away from my usual hangs. It's called Shaw St Espresso, located in Bexley North, St George area. I was there because (like I mentioned before), had to get my teeth imprinted. Nick had baked eggs and he said it was the best he's had - it comes with pork belly and beans, and I had the healthy platter (that's what it was called) with prosciutto, avocado and ricotta and some eggs. It was so good. So I just wanted to recommend it, it's tiny, but food and coffee done well! I'm going there again this Saturday, surprise surprise.

Winter Colours

Another gardening escapade last weekend meant driving to Dural to visit multiple nurseries. It was rainy and cold. Brrr. We only came out with a planter and 10 plants, I mean we drive a Holden Barina so that's pretty much self explanatory. We are still on a quest to find some good screening plants. Any suggestions warmly welcomed.

On an extremely high note, we had Hungry Jack's for lunch before we came home. Hahaha highlight of the weekend, whoop whoop!

Favourite Time of Year

Only 14 more sleeps til Christmas guys! I hope you're all ready. Tree decorated, gift buying sorted, presents all wrapped up and turkey in the fridge. I am having a couple of Christmases this year with Nick's family on the 22nd, then my mum's family for lunch on the 25th and dinner with my girls on the same night and finally a dinner with dad's family on the 26th. Definitely, definitely my favourite time of year - I get to see so many of the people I love in such a short amount of time. Enjoy the festive season guys.

It's that time of year again, officially the first of December and officially the day you can all start opening your advent calendars! I thought this year I would make the ultimate wishlist that probably wouldn't come true but still fun to make, also because I'm the kind of person who really enjoys making lists. I hope you're all getting into the spirit of things. Only a couple more weeks of work to go and then I get to see my family and friends again! Love!

Had such crappy weather on Sunday my mind must've been influenced by it and even though it's coming up to summer here down under... I went and bought a hybrid blazer / coat. So yeah...cool... won't get a chance to wear it til next year but sorry not sorry.

Childhood Favourite

Morning! It's Tuesday already and I'm feeling pretty cheery today for no particular reason.

Weekend was fab, went to see a couple of apartments and had pizza at this place in Lane Cove called Via Napoli. You can order normal pizzas, half a metre pizzas or a 2 metre pizza! There was only 2 of us so half a metre please!

This always happens in this regard I'm like my mum, eyes bigger than my stomach. It was so good though and very authentic and Italian, the only thing that brought it down was the atmosphere. Eating alfresco was fine, but we were stuck in between tables of families with children that are screaming (literal screaming) for attention so it wasn't the least bit romantic. So I would recommend going for dinner after 9 pm when the children should be in bed. Haha. I actually didn't really mind too much, I was just so hungry I was too busy eating anyway.

Lookee, I found a DIY swing whilst house hunting. I tried and tested it, how could I not?

Mad House

I've held onto these pictures from last week, just because I haven't had time to blog. Though I've really wanted to share it because it came out pretty nicely. Really enjoyed Hyde Park, the sunshine and the Mirrors installation for Sydney's Art & About. I find myself hanging out there more and more now that the sun is shining and I can sit there and enjoy my lunch breaks in peace and quiet.
